 Robert Ortiz Grade: 2.75
 Position: WR
 Class: Sr
 School: San Diego State
 Conference: Mountain West
 Ht., Wt.: 6-0, 195
 40 Time: 4.64

BIO: Two-year starter who totaled 39/422/5 as a senior after career-best numbers of 52/728/6 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Quick possession receiver with the ability to pick up yardage running after the reception. Finds the open seam in the defense and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Displays a sense of timing, gets vertical and adjusts to make the difficult grab. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, quickly transitions running after the reception and eludes defenders handling the ball.

NEGATIVES: Does not consistently catch the ball cleanly. Lacks the speed to beat opponents downfield. Marginal blocking skill, strength and intensity.

ANALYSIS: After a productive junior season, much more was expected of Ortiz last year. Has the skills to be a fifth receiver in the NFL yet must quickly put it together this summer.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
