BIO: All-Conference selection as both a senior and junior. Totaled 44/9/3 last season, also intercepting one pass and breaking up two more. Junior totals included 55/18/10. POSITIVES: Athletic, speed-rushing end with growth potential. Quickly gets off the snap, plays with good pad level and stays with the action. Immediately alters his angle of attack or changes direction and is fast when moving laterally. Effectively works hands to get off blocks. Wedges between linemen to make plays behind the line of scrimmage. NEGATIVES: Possesses a long, thin build and is easily controlled by opposing tight ends. Can be a liability against the run. Over-pursues the action and takes himself from the play. ANALYSIS: Coming off a terrific junior campaign, more was expected of Conover last season.
