2006 NFL Draft Draft Tracker Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 5 Round 6 Round 7 Players Positions Schools Conferences

 Brandon McKinney Grade: 3.06
 Position: DT
 Class: 5Sr
 School: Michigan State
 Conference: Big Ten
 Ht., Wt.: 6-1.5, 332
 40 Time: 5.35

BIO: Two-year starter who posted 45 tackles as a senior after 42/2/.5 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized thumper on the inside who flashes power. Built low to the ground, explosive off the snap and drives up the field. Slips blocks, getting through the small creases and displays the ability to move laterally.

NEGATIVES: Looks poorly conditioned and overweight. At times easily handled by a single blocker.

ANALYSIS: A run-stuffer in the middle of the line, McKinney has the ability to be used at nose tackle or on the inside in a conventional defense. Must play with a greater sense to have any chance at the next level.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
