BIO: Former starter who played in nine games last season totaling 16 tackles. Junior numbers included 83/1/7.

POSITIVES: Run-defending safety best up the field. Aggressive, likes to hit and is a sure-handed tackler. Has a burst of closing speed, is effective laterally and adjusts to defend the throw.

NEGATIVES: Late to the sidelines in coverage and has a tendency to take himself from the action. Marginal ball skills and does a lot of trailing.

ANALYSIS: Falling out of favor last season in Miami, Threat became a part-time player after a terrific junior campaign. Has potential as a zone safety and possibilities on special teams.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
