BIO: Three-year starter who missed the .04 season with a knee injury then returned to win All-Conference honors last year after posting 49/563/7.
POSITIVES: Hard-working, coachable prospect with excellent size. Fluid releasing into routes, displays good eye/hand coordination and makes the difficult catch in traffic. Makes the reception and takes a pounding yet holds onto the ball. Goes over the middle catching the pass in stride and adjusts to the errant throw. Effectively uses his frame to shield away opponents. Offers the quarterback a big target. Bends knees and works to block with good pad level.
NEGATIVES: Usually lined up in the slot, and blocking was not a priority in the UNLV system. Marginally strong and rarely finishes blocks.
ANALYSIS: Possessing good hands and pass-catching abilities, Estandia could be a sleeper at the tight end position. Needs to pick up the intensity of his blocking but could develop into a third tight end for an NFL team.
