Greg Wafford
SI Grade
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
6-1.5, 329
40 Time:

BIOGRAPHY: Junior college transfer who started the past two seasons at left guard, as well as both tackle positions.

POSITIVES: Explosive blocker who works best in a small area. Quick off the snap, stays square and anchors at the point or seals defenders from the action. Jolts defenders with good hand punch, pushing them off the ball or from their angle of attack. Built low to the ground.

NEGATIVES: Not a dominant run blocker. Rumbles about the field and lacks footwork in space.

ANALYSIS: Significantly improving his game as a senior, Wafford is a wide-bodied blocker who shows a lot of scrappiness to his game. The versatility to back-up at several positions on the line gives him added value.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
