BIOGRAPHY: Junior College transfer who started his only two seasons at Cal, winning All-Conference honors both years. Senior totals were 32/6/5.5 after 38/10/3.5 the prior year.
POSITIVES: Undersized college defensive end who projects to a rush linebacker position at the next level. Explosive off the snap and quickly changes direction to make plays down the line. Displays an array of moves to protect himself and fights to get off blocks.
NEGATIVES: Slow shedding blocks and easily wired at the point. Not fluid or fast when asked to play in space.
ANALYSIS: Giving top effort and using all his assets to their maximum, Tafisi could be a situational pass rusher at the next level or a backup linebacker in a 3-4 system. May not have the tools to develop into a starter, yet at the very least should be a productive special-teams player.
