Luke Smith-Anderson
SI Grade
3.01
Position:
TE
Class:
Jr
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
6-4, 248
40 Time:
4.75

BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter who posted a career-high 26/366/1 last year. Missed the .05 season after rupturing his spleen. Also missed the .03 and .02 seasons with injuries.

POSITIVES: Pass-catching tight end with a long injury history. Quick off the line, immediately gets to top speed and finds the open creases in the defense. Gets vertical or adjusts to the errant throw, displays strong hands and the ability to make the difficult catch.

NEGATIVES: Marginal strength as a blocker and gets pushed back off the line. Loses focus and lets catchable passes slip through his hands.

ANALYSIS: A potential .move. tight end for the next level, Smith-Anderson must be medically cleared to have any chance of getting invited to a camp next summer.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
