BIOGRAPHY: Former reserve who moved into the starting lineup as a senior. Began his college career at defensive end.
POSITIVES: Athletic prospect with a good degree of upside. Blocks with leverage, keeps his feet moving throughout the action and is strong at the point of attack. Gets his hands into opponents, stays square and rides defenders from their angle of attack.
NEGATIVES: Stiff and not effective on the second level. Loses a sense of where he is on the field and must make better use of blocking angles. Does not finish blocks.
ANALYSIS: A developing prospect who was out of position at left tackle last season, Frye offers a lot of possibilities at guard. Needs time to develop his game, yet is worth the investment of a late-round choice.
