Nate Ilaoa
SI Grade
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
5-9, 245
40 Time:

BIOGRAPHY: Former receiver who moved to running back prior to his junior year. All-Conference selection last season after rushing totals of 131/990/13, and 67/837/5 as a receiver. Junior totals included 643 yards on the ground and 36/274/1 as a pass-catcher.

POSITIVES: Short, stout ball carrier who moves well on the field. Follows blocks, shows some swivel in his runs and flashes power, picking up yardage off initial contact. Puts his shoulders down when tackled and drives forward. Solid receiver out of the backfield.

NEGATIVES: Has a history of injuries, which kept him on the sidelines. Struggles to control his weight, and wears down over the course of the game.

ANALYSIS: A productive player who benefits from Hawaii.s offensive system, Ilaoa is solid in all aspects, yet offers no single outstanding trait. Potentially a third-down back/short-yardage ball carrier, if he stays healthy and properly conditions himself.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
