2007 NFL Draft By Round Players Positions Schools Conferences NFL Teams Film Room
Jon Cornish
SI Grade
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
5-11.5, 206
40 Time:

BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter and All-Conference selection as a senior, after leading the team on the ground with 250/1,457/8, all career-best numbers. Added 24/194/1 catching the ball. Totaled 780 yards rushing as a junior.

POSITIVES: Hard-working back with terrific instincts. Patient, waits for blocks to develop and displays a slashing style. Slides off defenders, works runs on the inside and falls forward when tackled. Plays heads-up football and effectively handles blocking assignment.

NEGATIVES: Runs with a bit of an upright style. Not creative, does not make something out of nothing. Does not play to his 40 time, nor does he consistently turn the corner.

ANALYSIS: A prospect with a well rounded-game, Cornish offers solid size. Could fit in as a third ball carrier.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
