Curtis Brown
SI Grade
3.24
Position:
RB
Class:
Sr
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
5-11.5, 197
40 Time:
4.62

BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors every season since his sophomore campaign. Led the team in rushing as a senior, posting 201/1,010/10 and also the top pass catcher posting 62/565/3. Junior rushing totals were 1,095-yards and 14 touchdowns.

POSITIVES: Consistent ball carrier who projects as a third-down back in the NFL. Patient, waits for blocks to develop and runs with good instincts. Finds the cutback lanes, makes defenders miss and falls forward when tackled. Extends his hands.

NEGATIVES: Not fluid or graceful. Rarely picks up yardage off initial contact. Marginal playing speed.

ANALYSIS: A smart, competitive skill player, Brown lacks the size/speed numbers to be a true feature runner at the next level, yet has enough abilities to make a roster as a change-of-pace back.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
