BIOGRAPHY: All-American and All-Conference selection as a senior after career-best numbers of 64/639/6. Spent his first three seasons at Duke, where he started as a sophomore and junior.

POSITIVES: Athletic pass-catching tight end with soft hands. Quickly releases into routes, lays out for the errant throw and makes the difficult reception with defenders draped on him. Uses his frame to protect the pass and offers the quarterback a nice target.

NEGATIVES: Possesses just average playing speed and is not a tight end who breaks it down the seam. Marginal strength at the point of attack and rarely gets movement from run blocks.

ANALYSIS: After solid production at Duke, Patrick had a breakout campaign last season on a small-school level. Best suited as a move tight end, and offers potential as a No. 2 player at his position.

PROJECTION: Early Fourth Round
