Xzavie Jackson
SI Grade
3.39
Position:
DE
Class:
Sr
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
6-2.5, 278
40 Time:
5.06

BIOGRAPHY: Full-time starter during his sophomore and senior seasons after seeing extensive time with the first team as a freshman and junior. Senior totals were 55/12.5/7, when he also intercepted a pass.

POSITIVES: Competitive lineman who has continually improved his play. Quickly gets off the ball, plays with good leverage and uses his hands to protect himself. Solid athlete who pursues from the backside and also shows the ability to be dropped in space.

NEGATIVES: Can be handled at the point by a single blocker, is easily pushed from his angle of attack and does not consistently play a strong game.

ANALYSIS: A motivated individual who competes hard, Jackson has potential on the left side in a conventional defense. Needs to add bulk and improve his strength, yet at the very least can be a solid backup.

PROJECTION: Early Sixth Round
