Robert Johnson
SI Grade
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
6-1, 218
40 Time:

BIOGRAPHY: Junior college transfer who moved into the starting lineup upon his arrival at Texas Tech two seasons ago. Posted career-best numbers of 89/871/11 as a senior, after 67/951/4 as a junior.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized receiver who makes the difficult reception in a crowd. Finds the open space in the defense, extends his hands and offers the quarterback a nice target. Makes the catch in stride, looking the ball in, and adjusts to the errant throw.

NEGATIVES: Possesses marginal playing speed and struggles getting separation. Not quick running routes or releasing off the line.

ANALYSIS: A competitive underneath receiver, Johnson could be best in the slot for a team that lines up three wideouts.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
