BIOGRAPHY: Full-time starter the past two seasons who posted 78/1,017/12 as a senior after 77/1,249/15 the prior year. Accomplished baseball player who signed a $10 million, five-year contract with the Chicago Cubs in January.

POSITIVES: King-sized possession wideout who recently decided to pursue a career in baseball. Fluid releasing off the line, uses his frame as an advantage, out-muscling defenders for the tough grab. High-points the throw and pulls the errant pass from the air.

NEGATIVES: Marginal route-runner who does not show much sharpness into breaks. Lacks a burst of speed and does not stretch defenses. Overall game does not show much quickness.

ANALYSIS: A physical receiver with good a head for the game, Samardzija is the prototypical possession wideout. Has first-round potential but it appears he is committed to baseball for now.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
