BIOGRAPHY: Three year starter who posted 190/1013/3 on the ground as a senior, also adding 42/347/1 as a pass-catcher. Missed two games during the season with a back injury. Junior totals included 140/673/3 on the ground and 31/392/2 when he played in nine games. Underwent surgery on his left knee prior to the .06 season. All-Conference selection as a sophomore after career numbers of 197/1045/9 on the ground and 46/449 as a pass-catcher. Experienced at returning punts and kicks. Suffered a knee injury during Senior Bowl and did not participate in the combine.
POSITIVES: Instinctive, hard running ball handler with limited size and speed. Patiently waits for blocks to develop, follows them everywhere on field and quickly finds the running lanes. Picks his way on the inside, slides off tackles and has a physical style to his running. Sets up defenders, makes them miss and squirts through the small openings of the line. Natural receiver out of the backfield and cleanly snatches the ball from the air.
NEGATIVES: Does not show the speed to turn corner or run away from defenders in the open field. Picks up limited yardage off initial contact. Injured much of the past two seasons and has not looked like the same player since his knee surgery.
ANALYSIS: Little has the skill, intelligence and temperament to be a productive third-down back in the NFL. He must start to show some durability for any chance of a career in the NFL.
