POSITIVES: Explosive defensive end who's watching his draft stock soar. Plays with good pad level, shows great first-step quickness, and explosive in all his actions. Quickly changes direction, fluid moving laterally, and rarely off his feet. Slides off blocks and makes plays in every area of the field. Relentless, stays with the action, and displays a good head for the ball. Deceptively strong and holds his ground.

NEGATIVES: Must improve his hand technique and disengage from blocks quicker. Gets locked up at the point too often.

ANALYSIS: Jones is an outstanding athlete with good size and growth potential. He has shown marked improvement in his game the past two seasons and he took a giant step forward as a senior. Offering great upside, he could develop into one of the better two-gap linemen from this draft.
