BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who struggled with a toe injury last season and totaled 35/501/3 in 10 games. All-Conference selection the previous two seasons posting a career-high 58/973/6 as a sophomore.
POSITIVES: King-sized pass-catcher who physically dominates the opposition. Plays with good balance and body control and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Extends to make the difficult catch in a crowd, comes away with the ball in battles, and takes a pounding but holds onto the throw. Strong running after the reception, showing the ability to break tackles and pick up positive yardage. Offers the quarterback a nice target.
NEGATIVES: Lazily comes off the line and lacks top playing speed. Drops some catchable throws and must improve his ball security. Poor route-runner.
ANALYSIS: Urrutia has flashed ability the past three years, yet he is far from polished and must improve almost every aspect of his game. Ultimately, he could develop into a productive possession wideout at the next level if he focuses on the little things.
