BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter who began his college career at North Carolina. All-Conference selection the past two seasons who led Oklahoma State in receiving as a senior with 67/1006/8 and as a junior with 60/1181/12.
POSITIVES: King-sized possession receiver who physically beats down defenders. Beats jams at the line of scrimmage, effectively uses his large frame to gain positioning on defenders, and offers the quarterback a nice target by extending his hands. Adjusts to the errant throw, looks the pass in, and makes the difficult reception. Shows strength running after the catch and breaks tackles to pick up extra yardage.
NEGATIVES: Rounds off routes and shows absolutely no sharpness into breaks. Lumbering, loping receiver with marginal speed. Lacks consistent focus and lets too many catchable passes slip through his hands.
ANALYSIS: When focused on the task at hand, Bowman is a very effective game-controlling receiver. He possesses the skills to be a second wideout at the next level, yet he must learn to keep his focus for 60 minutes before that will happen.
