BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors after his junior and senior campaigns. Numbers last season included 37/2/11 after 43/6/13 the previous year. Outstanding player on special teams in college.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized cornerback only occasionally challenged by opponents. Stays with receivers out of routes, quickly breaks to the throw, and possesses a closing burst. Fluid transitioning to run with opponents anywhere on the field, immediately locates the pass in the air, and displays a sense of timing. Positions himself against opponents to make plays and stays with the action.

NEGATIVES: Prefers to side-shuffle down the field and must improve his footwork. Not aggressive in run support. Not a defender who.s always willing to jump into the pile.

ANALYSIS: Rodgers-Cromartie has been a consistent performer on a small-school level and possesses the athleticism and size necessary to play either cornerback or safety at the next level. His draft stock has been on the rise after great performances at the Senior Bowl and the combine and he.s headed into the middle part of round one.
