BIOGRAPHY: All-Conference selection as a senior when he started 11 games. Began his college career at Virginia where he started 11 of 12 games as a sophomore. Graduated and presently working on his master's degree in education.
POSITIVES: Large, well-built lineman who dominates the opposition. Blocks with a wide base, stays square, and anchors at the point. Powerful, gets movement from run-blocks, and annihilates opponents by driving them off the line. Effectively fights with his hands, jolts defenders with terrific punch, and flashes a nasty streak.
NEGATIVES: Struggles to adjust, marginally effective in motion, and not a natural knee-bender. Inflexible player who.s at his best in a limited area. Turned in a terrible pro-day workout and looked slow and poorly conditioned.
ANALYSIS: Ausberry has been a dominant college player and is best suited for a team seeking big, powerful offensive linemen. Offers good size and should only get better as he physically matures.
