POSITIVES: Explosive linebacker who pursues the action sideline-to-sideline. Diagnoses the play, quickly changes direction, and shows a burst of speed to the sidelines. Gets depth on drops, displays a good head for the ball, and covers a good amount of area on the field. Disciplined and stays with assignments.

NEGATIVES: Gets caught up in the trash or engulfed at the point. Does not sustain his speed.

ANALYSIS: Mays possesses poor size/speed numbers, yet he does the little things well and could make it for a team that keeps eight linebackers.
