BIOGRAPHY: Moved into the starting lineup as a true sophomore in 2005 and posted receiving numbers of 15/140/1. Followed it up with 45/478
as a junior before sitting on the sidelines in 2007 after tearing an ACL in summer camp. Played in nine games as a senior
struggling with a pectoral injury and finished the year with 19/234/4.
POSITIVES: Big, strong blocking tight end who had trouble staying healthy the past two years. Quickly releases off the line into routes,
nicely adjusts to the errant throw, and a solid pass catcher who makes the reception with his hands. Stands out as a blocker,
showing the ability to handle one-on-one assignments, and easily turns opponents off the ball.
NEGATIVES: Lacks the speed to be anything other than an intermediate pass-catching threat. Must do a better job keeping his focus and
concentration. Needs to give consistent effort as a blocker.
ANALYSIS: Hill offers outstanding size at the tight end position, and he has shown enough ability as a blocker and pass catcher to make
it as a number two at the position. He must show durability, increase his intensity, and be more consistent to reach the level
of ability NFL scouts believe he has.
