BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who began his college career at Boston College. All-Conference selection as a senior after leading the
team in tackles posting 154/9/.5. Junior totals included 131/12.5/2, when he was initially named as an all-Conference selection.
POSITIVES: Joseph is a physical linebacker whose play in run defense stands out. He's primarily a special teams prospect who could back
up on the inside of a 3-4 defense where he would projects as a two down defender.
NEGATIVES: Bites on the play-action pass and gets caught out of position. Guesses wrong and does not always fill the correct gaps in
run defense. Flashes ability in zone coverage, yet for the most part, struggles in pass defense.
ANALYSIS: Tough, physical, run-defending linebacker with marginal skill in space. Forceful up the field, holds his ground against blocks,
and stacks well against the run. Squares into ball handlers, wraps up and easily brings them down on initial contact. Hard-hitting,
lays some vicious links on opponents, and always working to get pad into the ball carrier. Flows well laterally, possesses
a quick first step, and rarely off his feet. Effectively leads the defense.
