BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter who began his college career on the defensive line. All-Conference selection after his junior and senior
campaigns. Struggled with a shoulder injury last year. Sat on the sidelines in 2006 after injuring his knee the prior season.
POSITIVES: Fundamentally sound blocker still learning to play on the offensive line. Bends his knees, consistently plays with good leverage,
and keeps his feet moving. Stands out in pass protection, displaying the ability to slide laterally and control undersized
speed rushers. Possesses good lateral blocking range, makes effective use of angles, and strong at the point. Solid position
blocker who stays square and seals defenders from the action. Works hard and gives effort.
NEGATIVES: Marginal run blocker who does not drive defenders off the ball. Struggles to adjust. Shows minimal skill blocking in motion.
Must improve his blocking balance.
ANALYSIS: Fulton has done a terrific job the past two years on the offensive line at Illinois. He shows good pass-blocking feet as well
as mechanics, and he could eventually develop into a solid blindside protector. Fulton will only improve as he physically
matures and adds bulk to his frame.
