BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference and All-America honors after his sophomore and junior seasons. Missed time with a
quadriceps injury last year and completed just 64.7% of his field goals, with a long of 49 yards. Also averaged 37.6 yards
on 18 punts. Junior totals included connecting on 88.6% of field goals, with a long of 52 yards and an average of 39.8 yards
on 76 punts.
POSITIVES: Swank is a nice-sized kicker with adequate leg strength for the next level. His best option may be for a team that keeps a
field goal specialist.
NEGATIVES: Possesses just an average kickoff leg. Has never really punted for long-distance throughout his career. Comes off a poor,
injury-laden senior season.
ANALYSIS: Double-duty kicker with adequate skill for the next level. Flashes the ability to get great hang time on punts, flipping the
field or punting his team out of a jam. Solid directional kicker, and nicely places punts when called upon. Possesses a good
field- goal leg, and he can hit them from 50-plus yards with room to spare.
