BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter and previous all-Conference selection who posted 14 tackles and three tackles for loss in three games last
season. Suspended at the start of the season for violation of team rules than tore an ACL after his return. Junior year numbers
included 40/9.5/5 after 47/10.5/6.5 as a sophomore.
POSITIVES: Mainor possesses the size/speed numbers and skill on the field to be used as either a pass rush specialist at defensive end
or stood up as an outside linebacker. He's never seems to have his full attention on the field, and now must deal with a knee
injury. Mainor was rated as a possible mid-to-late round selection prior to the year, but he will fall out of the draft and
must make it as an undrafted free agent.
NEGATIVES: Lined up in a three-point stance at Troy State, and easily blocked from the action. Does not seemingly play hard for 60 minutes.
Has multiple off-the-field issues.
ANALYSIS: Explosive and athletic college defensive end who makes a lot of plays in the opponent's backfield. Plays with good balance,
leverage and quick moving in all directions of the field. Displays the ability to immediately alter his angle of attack, shows
speed off the edge and a closing burst bearing down on the play. Rarely off his feet, effective dropping off the line, and
shows skill making plays in space.
