BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Named to several all-America teams the past
two years.
POSITIVES: Fundamentally sound blocker who's been a consistent performer the past three years. Bends his knees, gets leverage on opponents,
and blocks with a nasty attitude. Quickly gets his hands into defenders, displays footwork in space, and strong enough to
turn opponents off the line. Explodes off the snap into blocks, squares into defenders, and seals them from the action with
good body positioning. Effective with the shotgun snap. Works well with teammates, and displays leadership on the field. Quick
to the second level, nicely adjusts to linebackers and shows ability blocking in motion.
NEGATIVES: Not a dominant blocker in the middle, and is overwhelmed by large defenders. Lacks balance and all too often on the field.
ANALYSIS: Mack has been a durable and dependable center, and he offers starting potential in the NFL. He must improve his run-blocking
strength, which would only help him complete his game, and Mack offers a good amount of upside possibility.
