BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior after totaling 56/13/7.5. Junior totals included 58/10.5/6.5.

POSITIVES: Martin was very solid the past two seasons lining up at defensive end for Virginia Tech. He lacks the size to be an every-down lineman in the NFL, but he offers possibility standing up over tackle as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 alignment.

NEGATIVES: Controlled at the point by a single blocker or easily knocked from his angle of attack. Does not possess great growth potential.

ANALYSIS: Athletic college pass rusher who projects to outside linebacker in the NFL. Plays with good balance, body control, and pad level. Quickly gets off the snap, slides down the line, making plays against the run, and has an excellent burst of closing speed. Fast up the field as a pass rusher, quickly changes direction, and shows ability in pursuit, covering a lot of area on the field.

PROJECTION: 3-4
