BIOGRAPHY: Former walk-on who started for three seasons at both guard and tackle. All-Conference selection ever since his sophomore campaign.
POSITIVES: Productive, wide-bodied blocker with surprising ability in space. Blocks with good lean, gets leverage on opponents, and shows
the ability to turn them off the ball run blocking. Keeps his feet moving, quickly gets his hands into defenders and effectively
places them. Stays square and walls opponents from the action with good position blocking. Moves well on his feet, shows footwork
sliding off the edge, and he can hit a moving target blocking in motion. Plays heads-up football.
NEGATIVES: Overweight and must improve his blocking balance. Needs to develop a nasty streak.
ANALYSIS: Bussey has done a terrific job since walking onto the Louisville football team. He possesses the body type to be used at guard
in the NFL, and he has the skills to play in a zone-blocking scheme. Bussey must properly condition himself and improve his
playing strength to make a roster at the next level.
