BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter at center awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign.
POSITIVES: Physical, tough center with a great feel for the position. Explosive, fires off the snap and gets out to the second level,
walling linebackers from the action. Fundamentally sound, plays with a nasty attitude, and works hard until the whistle blows.
Effectively fights with his hands, keeps his feet moving, and constantly keeps defenders away from the action. Works well
with teammates, and does an outstanding job quarterbacking the offensive line. Plays through injury.
NEGATIVES: Not a true dominator in the middle of the line. Stiff, struggles to redirect to linebackers and on the field a bit much.
ANALYSIS: Wood has been durable and productive on the college level, and he gets the job done. He's not a great athlete, rather a terrific
football player with the ability to break into a starting lineup on the NFL level and then stay there for years to come.
