Biography: Four-year starter used at both guard and left tackle. All-Conference selection since his sophomore season and named to several all-American teams last year.
Positives: Well-sized small area blocker best in confined quarters. Patient in pass protection, stout at the point, and controls defenders once engaged in a block. Quickly gets his hands into defenders, strong in his upper body, and large enough to engulf opponents. Fights hard throughout the action and works to finish blocks. Possesses a wide body and defenders have difficulty getting around him.
Negatives: Better-than-average footwork yet does not possess enough blocking range to stay at left tackle. Not a natural knee bender. Lumbers about the field and struggles blocking in motion. Overextends and reaches into blocks, which adversely affects his balance.
Analysis: Beadles is a solid, yet unspectacular, prospect who has the body type and playing style to be used at guard. He needs to improve the details and fundamentals of his game, yet the ability to be used at several positions could make him an enticing backup at the next level.
