Senior
School: Conference: Ht., Wt.:
5-10, 188

BIOGRAPHY: Junior-college transfer who moved into the starting lineup as a senior and then totaled 68/3/7 and was awarded all-Conference honors. Played in nine games the prior season and finished with 16 tackles.

POSITIVES: Well-rounded cornerback who's hitting his stride on the field. Plays smart football, displays a sense of timing and good awareness. Possesses a burst of closing speed, and fights hard to defend the throw. Tough run defender who quickly comes up the field or collapses from the outside to make the play.

NEGATIVES: Rough around the edges with his mechanics. Productive for only one season at West Virginia.

ANALYSIS: A relative unknown prior to this season, Lankster comes off a terrific senior campaign and is moving up draft boards. He possesses the size and ball skills to play at the next level if given enough time to develop his game.

PROJECTION: Seventh Round/Free Agent
