BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors the past two seasons. Senior totals included 33/8.5/3 after 45/14/8.5 as a
junior.
POSITIVES: Short, explosive defensive tackle who moves well on his feet. Plays with a good degree of quickness, slides off blocks and
defends the run. Bends his knees, gets leverage on opponents, and works his hands throughout the play. Moves well laterally
and rarely off his feet.
NEGATIVES: Does not show great intensity for 60 minutes. Easily controlled at the point by a single blocker. Possesses more of a short
area burst of speed versus a lineman who can effectively pursue the action.
ANALYSIS: Walker is an explosive lineman with the build and skill to be used in a three- technique position. An underachiever of sorts,
Walker is a mid-round prospect who must learn to play hard on every down if he wants a career in the NFL.
