BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who totaled just 20/214/3 as a senior when he struggled with a knee injury the entire season. Led the team
in receiving the prior two seasons posting 63/834/6 as a junior and 45/455/5 as a sophomore.
POSITIVES: Fields has been a productive receiver at Kansas, and he could fit in as a fifth receiver in a timing offense required to make
receptions in the underneath coverage.
NEGATIVES: Lacks a burst and cannot beat defenders in a foot race. Sized well, yet not large enough to a prototypical possession wideout.
ANALYSIS: Reliable one-speed receiver somewhat effective running after the reception. Quickly releases off the line into routes, uses
his frame to shield away defenders, and adjusts to the errant throw. Extends his hands looking the pass in and makes the difficult
reception with defenders draped on him. Works hard to make himself an available target, and quickly transitions from making
the reception to running after the catch. Gives effort blocking downfield.
