BIOGRAPHY: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference and All-American honors since his junior season. Totaled 86/1/6 as a senior, when
he struggled with an ankle injury. Junior season included career numbers of 117/8/6.
POSITIVES: Aggressive, well-sized defensive back coming off a disappointing season. Forceful up the field, defeats blocks and makes a
lot if plays on the ball. Quickly changes direction, possesses a burst of speed, and attacks ball carriers. Displayed solid
sideline-to-sideline range as a junior, a nice sense of timing, and good ball skills. Previously flashed ability in man coverage
situations, and constantly put himself in the proper position to make plays on the pass.
NEGATIVES: Played back on his heels as a senior, was late picking up centerfield assignments, and really struggled making plays in reverse.
Must improve his backpedal, and does not display quick break to the throw out of his plant.
ANALYSIS: Moore carried high grades coming into this season, and he was considered by most NFL scouts as a potential first-round pick
in this year's draft. Injuries hampered his play last season, and then a poor showing at the Senior Bowl really pushed him
down draft boards. When he was at the top of his game as a junior, Moore displayed himself to be a complete defensive back
who was an intimidating presence in centerfield against the run and pass. He enters the draft with a second-round grade and
a lot of questions surrounding his game. Moore offers starting potential at the next level, and he will have a long, productive
career if he gets his game back on track.
