BIOGRAPHY: All-Conference selection as a senior after leading Tulsa on the ground posting 147/1,523/14 and adding 23/213/1 as a pass
catcher. Started six games as a junior yet still rushed for 219/1,225/8 and ended up with 30/301/3 as a pass catcher.
POSITIVES: Adams has been a terrific back for Tulsa, and he produced carrying the ball or catching it out of the backfield. His poor
size/speed numbers will push him out of the draft's seven rounds, yet he most certainly will be signed as an undrafted free
agent, and he has enough skills to make a roster at the next level as a role player.
NEGATIVES: Lacks the speed to turn the corner or beat defenders around the outside. Cannot run to daylight.
ANALYSIS: Productive collegiate ball-carrier who nicely projects as a third-down back/situational running back at the next level. Runs
low to the ground, displays terrific quickness, and plays much bigger than his listed size. Strong in his lower body, picks
up yardage off initial contact or falls forward when tackled. Runs hard and aggressively puts his shoulders into defenders
and drives forward on contact. Gives effort blocking. Can cut back in a small area and avoid piles. Displays good vision as
a pass catcher. Possesses open-field running skills and picks his way through traffic. Terrific receiver out of the backfield
who effectively catches the ball with his hands.
