honors. Played in two games and 07 before a knee injury ended his season. Junior totals included 36/380/5 after 42/547/4

POSITIVES: Sperry is one of the better pass catchers in this years tight end class. His lack of speed as well as his prior injury will
send up red flags gets. Sperry could make an NFL roster as a third tight end for an offense which consistently puts him in
motion prior to the snap.
NEGATIVES: Average route runner and slows into breaks. Marginal speed and not a tight end who consistently creates mismatches in the
secondary. Not quick or explosive into blocks and lacks functional football strength.
ANALYSIS: Fluid, pass catching tight end with natural receiving skills. Quickly releases off the line into routes, comes back to the
ball out of breaks and extends his hands offering the quarterback a big target. Adjusts to the errant throw, uses his frame
to get separation from defenders and displays good eye/hand coordination. Quickly transitions from making the catch to running
after the reception. Displays outstanding awareness and consistently finds the open space on the field in the underneath coverage.
