BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors the past two seasons as well as being named Big 10 Defensive Lineman of the
Year in 2008. Totals last season included 53/15.5/4 after 58/14.5/4.5 as a junior. Sophomore and freshman totals included
56/14/7 and 60/11/2, respectively.
POSITIVES: King has been consistently productive since his freshman campaign, and he is just a good football player. His size and lack
of growth potential will limit him in the NFL, yet the intensity he plays with will help him catch on as a rotational defensive
lineman and special teams player.
NEGATIVES: Easily turned from the play by a single blocker or engulfed at the point. Has growth limitations.
ANALYSIS: Hard-working, resilient defensive lineman who plays with a non-stop motor. Displays great quickness and explosion in his game,
plays with excellent leverage, and breaks down well. Works his hands to get off blocks, chases the action hard, and strings
plays out laterally to the flanks. Fluid if asked to twist or stunt, quickly changes direction and shows skill in pursuit.
Smart, intelligent football player who quickly diagnoses the action.
