BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors the past two years. Senior totals included 67/1,016/18 after 55/582/1 as
a junior.
POSITIVES: Consistent and reliable receiver with solid size/speed numbers. Quickly releases off the line into routes, immediately gets
to top speed, and is a resilient receiver who makes the difficult reception in a crowd. Displays good body control, effectively
uses the sidelines, and shows a nice sense of timing and anticipation. Gets vertical over defenders and uses his frame to
shield away opponents and protect the pass. Plays with good focus, looks the ball into his hands, and consistently makes the
reception away from his body. Follows the quarterback across the field or finds the clearing in the defense to make himself
an available target. Easily adjusts to the errant throw, and plays with good balance. Gives effort as a blocker.
NEGATIVES: Does not play to his 40-time or present himself as a downfield threat. Marginal skills running after the reception.
ANALYSIS: Edison is one of the more well-rounded small-school pass catchers in the draft. He offers a good degree of upside, and he
will be a productive player at the next level should he learn to play to his 40 time. He could slip into the middle rounds
of the draft, and he will fight for a roster spot as a team?s third or fourth receiver.
