BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign.
POSITIVES: Strong, nasty lineman best in a small area. Quickly gets into blocks, plays with a nasty streak and easily controls defenders
once engaged at the point of attack. Stays square, displays great punch with his hands, and has the ability to easily steer
defenders from the action. Sets with a wide base, and keeps his feet moving. Displays good awareness of what's happening on
the field, and keeps his head on a swivel.
NEGATIVES: Lumbers about the field, struggles hitting a moving target, and is ineffective in motion. Overextends into blocks, lacks adjustment,
and has difficulty finishing blocks anytime he is asked to leave the line of scrimmage.
ANALYSIS: Canfield has been a productive interior lineman at Cincinnati, and he offers the size and body type to play at the next level.
He would benefit by increasing his flexibility, although he has the size and growth potential to be a productive starter in
a power running offense.
