BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who began his career as a Nebraska Cornhusker. Senior totals included 64.2%/1,508/11/8 throwing the ball,
with 1,061 yards on the ground and 18 more touchdowns. All-Conference selection as a junior after passing numbers of 60.5%/1,553/10/8
with 822 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.
POSITIVES: Nice-sized passer with good physical skills in a t a unrefined game. Tough, stands in the pocket and takes a hit in order
to get the throw away. Possesses a strong arm, drives the long pass or puts zip and velocity on the shorter throws. Easily
gets outside the pocket to make the throw on the move. Strong carrying the ball, with the ability to break tackles and picks
up yardage off initial contact.
NEGATIVES: Short-arms his motion, throws behind receivers, and does not release the ball with proper footwork. Marginal pass placement,
and sprays his throws around the field. Does not show a good sense of timing or field vision in the pocket.
ANALYSIS: Miller offers terrific size/speed numbers, and he makes a lot of athletic plays on the field. He lacks the basic fundamentals
and mechanics to play quarterback at the next level, and he is likely to be tried at a different position, such as tight end.
