BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all Conference honors as a senior after totaling 56/16.5/11. Junior totals included 50/750/16.5/7.5.
POSITIVES: Athletic college defensive end with the versatility to be used at a number of positions in the NFL. Breaks down well, plays
with good knee bend and gets leverage on opponents. Fast off the edge, immediately alters his angle of attack and shows speed
moving to the sidelines chasing down ball carriers. Plays with excellent balance, rarely off his feet, and displays skill
in pursuit. Works his hands throughout the action, displays a good head for the ball and nicely diagnoses plays, remaining
disciplined with assignments. Slices through the small openings of the offensive line. Occasionally stands up over tackle.
NEGATIVES: Does not display great first step quickness. Undersized for defensive end and smothered at the point by blockers.
ANALYSIS: Brown has been a playmaker for the Huskies' defense since his sophomore season and constantly disrupts the action in the opponent's
backfield. He displays the skills necessary to be switched to outside linebacker in a 3-4 alignment, yet he must show he is
as efficient making plays in reverse as he is moving up the field.
