Biography: Former defensive tackle who's started the past two seasons at center.
Positives: Hard-working offensive line prospect still developing at the center position. Consistently bends his knees, plays with good leverage, and keeps his feet active throughout the action. Very quick in his all-around game, displays good footwork in space and the ability to slide laterally. Quick if asked to pull across the line scrimmage, nimble on the move, and displays the ability to hit a moving target. Effectively uses his hands throughout the action, correctly placing them into defenders, and pushing opponents from their angle of attack. Keeps his head on a swivel and plays with a nasty attitude.
Negatives: Lacks a dominant base, natural bulk, and gets overpowered by large opponents. Average run blocker.
Analysis: Larsen has done a terrific job the past two seasons since moving to the center spot. He offers a good degree of upside and should just get better the more playing time he receives. Fundamentally sound in all areas, Larsen would be a good addition to a zone-blocking scheme.
