BIOGRAPHY: All-Conference selection as a senior after moving into the starting lineup and totaling 39/10/6. Did not play in 2007, and
posted 20 tackles in 06 when he started 11 games.
POSITIVES: Brown possesses solid measurables for the next level and watched his game progress last season. He lacks the size to be a
true defensive end, but possesses the speed to be used at outside linebacker in the NFL. He must now show the ability to make
plays in reverse rather than just pin his ears back and make his way up the field.
NEGATIVES: Easily handled at the point by a single blocker. Lacks size and functional football strength. Displays marginal closing burst
and does not play with 40 time. Almost exclusively makes plays up the field and rarely asked to drop off the line or play
ANALYSIS: Athletic college pass rusher who flashed ability last season, improving his game. Displays good first step quickness, immediately
changes direction, and displays the ability to flatten off the edge and pursues from the backside. Fluid moving about the
field, displays a solid head for the ball, and effectively works his hands to keep opponents off him. Remains disciplined
with assignments. Plays with good pad level, getting underneath opponents.
