BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who led the team in receiving as a senior, posting 86/1,271/9, also averaging 15-yards on seven punt returns
and 25.6 yards on 16 kick returns, bringing two back for touchdowns. Junior receiving totals included 56/772/11. Awarded all-Conference
and all-America honors as a sophomore after posting career totals of 92/1,425/12.
POSITIVES: Williams ability to produce as a receiver/kick returner/punt returner could make him a valuable utility player at the next
level. He lacks the dimensions to be an every- down receiver, yet he could be lined up in the slot on certain formations and
used as a return specialist.
NEGATIVES: Small to the point where he is looks almost tiny. Despite his production, he does not show consistently soft hands and drops
too many catchable throws.
ANALYSIS: Small, explosive ball handler who produces in a variety of ways on the field. Intelligent, displays excellent field awareness,
and is always working to pick up positive yardage whenever he handles the ball. Knows where he is on the field, shows a lot
of quickness in his game, and immediately transitions from making the reception to running after the catch. Nicely adjusts
to the errant throw, effectively uses the sidelines and plays with good balance. Comes back into the clearing to make himself
an available target, and displays a good sense of timing.
