BIOGRAPHY: Second-team all-Conference selection as a junior when he became Alabama's full-time starter at running back and totaled 233/1,383/10 on the ground, adding 16/118/1 as a pass catcher. Junior rushing totals included 129/545/4 when he started three games.

POSITIVES: Grind it out interior ball-carrier with marginal size/speed numbers. Patient ball-carrier with good vision and the ability to quickly find the cutback lanes. Works runs, shows a burst through the hole, and drives his feet on contact. Runs through tackles and picks up yardage off initial contact. Solid receiver out of the backfield and displays strength as a blocker.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the speed to turn the corner. Not an elusive back who creates his own yardage. More of a safety valve receiver rather than a downfield threat.

ANALYSIS: Coffee comes off a career season at Alabama, yet he lacks the physical skills to be anything other than a third running back at the next level. He displays toughness in his all-around game, which he must translate to special teams at the next level to have any chance of making a roster.
