BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors after his sophomore and junior seasons. Totals last season included 78/4/7.
Junior year numbers were 49/4/5 when he led the Spartans and interceptions. Led the team in tackles as a sophomore with 94.
Had his knee operated on after the season.
POSITIVES: Wiley is effective playing downhill or in the box. He has limited skills in coverage, yet Wileys style of play lends one
to believe he will be effective in a zone system and should be a good special teams player.
NEGATIVES: Lacks top sideline-to-sideline range, and struggles making plays outside the numbers. Does not show a great break to the ball
out of his plant. Lacks the second gear or top-end speed.
ANALYSIS: Tall, physical safety best defending the run. Displayed improved instincts last season, takes good angles to the play, and
is efficient. Sure-handed tackler who wraps up at the point of attack. Effectively reads pass plays when facing the action,
and puts himself in a position to make plays on the ball.
