BIOGRAPHY: Full-time starter the past two seasons, awarded varying degrees of all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Senior totals included 87/23/10.5 when he led Cal and in tackles for loss. Junior totals included 64/12.5/5.5.

POSITIVES: Instinctive linebacker who plays with good instincts. Breaks down well, quick in his head, and immediately locates the ball. Effective in run defense, fires up the field, and wraps up tackling. Tough, and works hard to get involved in the action.

NEGATIVES: Displays marginal skill in pursuit and lacks speed to the sidelines. Struggles in coverage, displaying a poor backpedal and average ball skills.

ANALYSIS: Follet is a highly thought of linebacker with marginal size/speed numbers. He will be given consideration on the inside after spending most of his college career at outside linebacker. He is a depth player who must make his mark on special teams.
